The department offers a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Northern Technical University, specifically designed to keep up with the current and rapid advancements in the field of artificial intelligence. The program aims to prepare practitioners and innovators in the field who can meet the growing demand in both local and international job markets, ensuring a locally delivered program that meets international standards. The department’s mission is to prepare distinguished professionals who can meet the demands of the job market and acquire the skills to effectively utilize data and evidence for proper system implementation, delivering appropriate solutions. This is achieved through understanding and developing knowledge bases and operating inference and reasoning engines that lead to multiple, optimal solutions.

Objectives:

The department aims to graduate qualified students capable of working in artificial intelligence and competing in the field of smart applications and technologies. Objectives include understanding and supporting AI technologies and applications to meet societal needs, expanding the knowledge field, encouraging scientific research in both theoretical and practical aspects of intelligent systems and applications, and familiarizing students with systematic methods for analyzing and designing AI-specific applications.
