A student from the College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence Technical Engineering receives three international certifications from Cisco and Google in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
In line with the vision of the University President, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and her continuous support for the college’s students and their scientific achievements, and with the attention and follow-up of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Ibrahim Dalal Bashi, the college continues to foster a stimulating academic environment that contributes to developing students’ skills and empowering them to achieve excellence in modern technical fields.
In this context, student Abdulhafiz Attia Sayel – second year, Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies – achieved a scientific accomplishment by obtaining three internationally accredited certifications for 2026 from reputable global technology organizations.
He earned the Ethical Hacker certification from Cisco through the Cisco Academy, which specializes in information security and penetration testing to enhance system protection and address vulnerabilities according to approved professional methodologies. He also obtained the Network Defense certification from the same organization, which focused on network protection strategies, data security, and dealing with cyber threats. In addition, he received a Generative AI for Educators certificate from Google in collaboration with MIT, which aims to utilize generative artificial intelligence techniques to enhance the educational process and improve learning environments using advanced digital tools.
This achievement reflects the college students’ commitment to developing their specialized knowledge and skills, and keeping abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, thus strengthening their academic and professional readiness.
