Preparing highly qualified technical and engineering personnel with a strong understanding, knowledge, and academic and technical background, combining engineering concepts, technical innovation, scientific skill, and high-quality execution in the field of cybersecurity and cloud computing engineering.
. Preparing technical and engineering personnel responsible for building, designing, and protecting information technology systems within institutions to prevent data breaches and maintain their security against hackers, viruses, and other potential problems.
. Continuously developing academic programs through collaboration with Arab and international academic institutions to meet the requirements of Iraqi and local cybersecurity and national security programs, as well as the needs of the labor market. This includes providing a suitable environment for theoretical and practical teaching using the latest educational tools and equipment, and adhering to quality standards, academic accreditation, and curriculum development committees.

Continuously enhancing the capabilities of faculty members, technicians, and administrators within the department through participation in seminars, conferences, and workshops organized by the department or similar departments in local and international universities. Collaborating with relevant departments to follow up with graduates and continuously evaluate their performance to ensure their effective contribution to community service after graduation, in accordance with a future plan and vision for developing and expanding community engagement.
