Under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Ibrahim Dalal Bashi, our college organized a scientific seminar entitled “Sustainable Development.” The seminar addressed a crucial topic: the role of artificial intelligence in preserving green spaces, as part of its efforts to enhance environmental and technological awareness among students.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Diaa Hussein Hammad Hilal from the Department of Computer Engineering Technology. He reviewed the most prominent concepts of sustainable development and explained how artificial intelligence technologies can contribute to the efficient monitoring and management of green spaces through data analysis and environmental change prediction.
The seminar also highlighted the importance of employing modern technologies to address environmental challenges and support efforts aimed at achieving a sustainable environment, in line with global trends toward green digital transformation. The seminar witnessed a remarkable interaction from the attendees, who enriched the discussion with their questions and interventions, emphasizing the importance of this type of event in developing scientific and environmental awareness.
